For the system to run properly the system must be connected directly to the battery. If you are connecting the system to a commercial vehicle or semi-truck you can connect it to the fuse panel but it must be before the fuse, as to get the appropriate amount of voltage.
No, the blades will not heat when the vehicle is not running, thus not draining power. This is done through the module which detects when the vehicle is running by reading the spike in voltage when vehicle turns on then recognizing the decrease when your vehicle turn off. Thanks to this feature the the blades will not draw any power when the vehicle is not running. (Even when running the entire system only draws 2.1 amps)

The wipers do not heat separately, they are designed to have a continues circuit. Therefor both blades must be connected for the system to run properly.
This system will not affect the warranty because of its non invasive installation process. Unlike a rust module you don't need to drill into the body of the vehicle.
